Dr. Robert Nyabongoye

I am a PhD level, Policy, Strategy, Development, and Governance (PSDG) professional with 15+ years of experience supporting companies, governments, NGOs, universities, and international organisations.

I work at the intersection of policy, strategy, development, and governance, helping companies, governments, NGOs, and development partners navigate complex decisions in changing environments. Increasingly, my work focuses also on AI governance, ensuring that artificial intelligence is adopted responsibly in public institutions, development programmes, and donor-funded systems.

My approach is grounded in real institutional realities, not tech hype: aligning AI use with public policy, accountability, ethics, and development outcomes across Africa and international contexts.

I take a hands-on approach simplifying complexity, guiding leaders and teams, and turning ideas into practical action. I also contribute to learning and public discourse through my authored whitepapers, publications, and a podcast I host, linking research to real-world solutions.
